Angelenos are ready for a better way to move through our city.

As someone who knows firsthand the gridlock on the 405, I’m writing to voice my strong support for Metro’s Sepulveda Transit Corridor project—and specifically, for the alternatives put forth by Sepulveda Transit Corridor Partners (STCP).

These heavy rail options would finally connect the San Fernando Valley and the Westside with an end-to-end ride in just 20 minutes. With high ridership, seamless transfers to the Metro network, and key stops like UCLA, STCP’s alternatives offer the convenience and reliability Los Angeles has been waiting for.

They’re designed with the future in mind—driverless trains, minimal surface disruption, and station locations that serve where people live and work. This project represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build infrastructure that matches the scale and spirit of Los Angeles.

I urge you to support Alternatives 4 and 5 and help bring real, lasting change to how we get around this city. Please represent our voices at upcoming hearings and meetings on the topic.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Why take action and urge your elected representatives to support Alternatives 4 and 5 for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project?

Our alternatives support the highest projected ridership numbers at peak and deliver the fastest travel times in LA history — up to 70 mph, with trains arriving every 90 seconds to 2.5 minutes. With 8 convenient stations, plus a direct stop at UCLA, our alternatives offer seamless connectivity with the D, E, and G Lines, and direct transfers to Metro, Amtrak, and Metrolink. Built for the future, our alternatives rely on driverless trains to boost safety, speed, and reliability.
